Christmas Time

I absolutely love this time of year. I love the decorations, the smells, the snow, and just the feeling that comes along with this time of year. I also love all the family time that we get to have. I'm excited for all the parties and the family get togethers. This year is Nixon's first Christmas and I am SO excited for it. I know that he doesn't understand it, but it's so much fun watching him. He LOVES the Christmas tree, the lights and all the ornaments. Of course he wants to play with all of them. He pulls the bottom garland string off and will just walk around with it everywhere. If you look closely at the tree, you will notice that the top half has decorations and the bottom half is pretty naked. That is because of:

Nixon loves the tree. He knows he's not supposed to play with the ornaments, so every time he walks up to the tree he will turn around and look at us to see what we're going to do and then try to hurry and grab an ornament before we stop him. It's so funny!!!

This is just a picture of my mantle above my fireplace. I'm still trying to find a super cute wreath that I can hang above the mantle. And I still need to get stockings too.

I love how cozy it is at night with the fireplace on, the Christmas lights on, and my Scentsy going. I'm SO excited to see Nixon on Christmas. It's going to be a great one!
