Taytum's Blessing

We finally got Taytum blessed on April 10th, 2011.
Nic gave her a beautiful blessing.
And she did great during the blessing!!!
I was one proud wife/momma!!!
We are all so lucky to have Nic be the amazing husband/father that he is.

I was so excited for her to finally be blessed.
She was able to wear the same dress that I was blessed and sealed to my parents in.
That made the whole thing even more special.

Four generations.
Grandma Great (my grandma), My Mom, Me, Taytum

We had a luncheon at our house after her blessing and it was so much fun to visit with everyone.
We love our little girl SO much!!!

2 Year Old Outfits

Nixon is quite the independent little 2 year old.
He's at the stage where he has to do everything himself.
Picking out his clothes is one of them.
We love seeing what he ends up picking out.
We always get a kick out of the outcome of his outfits.

He always ends up picking basketball shorts and usually a jammy top.
Total boy!

I was dying when I saw him with these shorts on.
He did NOT want any help getting them on.
This is what he ended up with.
And check out the boots on the wrong feet.
I LOVE it!!!

Once again, he wanted NO help getting these shorts on.
Backwards.
Such a little stud!

Taytum's 4 Months Old

Taytum is now 4 months old.
Time is flying by.
I think it goes faster having a 2 year old in the mix.
She isn't doing much more than her 3 month update.
Her stats from her 4 month appointment are:

15.5 lbs. (75%tile)
26 1/2 in. (off the charts)

She's still such a good baby.
She has really bad eczema...hopefully she grown out of it.
She still has cradle cap.  We can't get it to go away!
Other than that, she's super healthy.
She loves eating her hands.
She's almost rolling over but she isn't quite there yet.
She still loves to cuddle.
She does love cuddling her blankies.
She rubs her eyes when she's tired and it's the cutest thing ever.
She's sleeping through the night great!
She loves laughing and talking to us.
She follows us around the room with her head.
She turns to look at us when she hears our voices.

She is starting to play with her legs now.
Check out those rolls on her thighs.
She's quite the little chunker muffin.
She loves her play mat and is starting to grab the toys that hang from it.
Nixon loves her and he's so super sweet with her.
He loves to give her toys to play with.
She LOVES to be held still.
She isn't very good about laying down on her own.
I guess we've spoiled her a little much.
But that is totally fine.
She deserves it and we love it!

We are lucky to have her and love her to pieces.
