The family of this little boy has been through SO SO SO much these last few weeks.

Boys Ice Fishing Trip

They boys went ice fishing up at Scofield last week and they had a blast. It was Nic's first time so Adam and Jeff showed him the ropes and he loved it. They had fun chillin with each other in between catching fish. I'm pretty sure that this won't be the last time that they all go together.

Super Bowl Sunday

This year for the Super Bowl we went with a whole bunch of our friends up to a HUGE cabin up in Heber. This cabin was seriously the biggest cabin I have ever been in. The downstairs alone had 17 bedrooms and each bedroom had its own bathroom. There were three kitchens. Two downstairs and the main one on the main floor. And this kitchen was seriously to die for. I would LOVE to have it in my house. It was huge with a ton of cupboard space, a huge island, 2 ovens and a huge refrigerator and freezer. It had an indoor basketball court and a HUGE indoor pool. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone and exploring the house. We were all able to put our babies down for naps at one point or another which was nice for all of us. We had a lot of food and had such a fun time hanging out with everyone. (I should have taken pictures of the cabin but I didn't so oh well)

13 Months

My little man is now 13 months old (and a couple weeks because I'm SO behind) and he is SO SO SO much fun.

I have to say that I am LOVING this age!

He is such a happy little guy and is SO much fun to be around.

He is a little out of control....ok A LOT out of control but he is happy most of the time.

He seriously goes from being sound asleep to completely wired.

He's either on or off.

There is no in between for him but I wouldn't have it any other way.

He is such a big kid. I don't really realize it until he's around other kids. He's so much taller and so much bigger than any kids that are his age.

Fun things Nixon is up to these days:

-LOVES playing basketball in the bath tub with his little basketball hoop

-says "ba" whenever he sees any ball

-loves playing with any type of ball..mostly his baseballs and basketballs

-brings us something he wants to eat and says "mo" for more or tells us "mo" when he's ready for more of whatever he's eating

-points to the deer in the house and says "de"

-brings us a bottle and says "baba" at night time when we ask him if he's ready to go "ni night"

-absolutely LOVES his books and LOVES to read

-pretty much runs everywhere instead of walking

-loves to run around on the grass (now that the snow has melted off of it)

-lets Emmi out of her kennel when we get home

-loves to let Emmi out to go potty

-loves playing with his trucks and says "vroom vroom" when playing with them

-brings me his shoes when he wants to put them on and says "sh sh"

-runs away from me when he knows I'm going to change his diaper

-he knows where his ear, nose, and eyes are

-says "na na na" whenever he sees or wants a banana

He is such a joy to have around these days. His little personality is starting to show SO much and all of us are just loving every little second we get with him. We are definitely blessed to have him in our lives.

M.I.A.

The reason I have been M.I.A. and have been slacking on posting is due to a broken camera. Sad I know. I just haven't taken the time to send it in and get it fixed but it's on my to do list as soon as possible. (Nic took these pictures with his phone.) Things have been pretty busy around the Warren household. Nic is going to school full time again and he's working at Verizon so he leaves the house around 7 or 8am and doesn't get home til 7-8 pm. Nixon and I miss him but we know that he's doing it for us and we are SO SO SO proud of him.

I am now working at a physical therapy clinic doing massage and am also being a physical therapist aid. I am absolutely LOVING it because I have always wanted to be a physical therapist so it's right up my alley. I'm pretty sure I will never go through all the schooling to become a physical therapist so this is good enough for me. Another reason I am loving it is because I am only working Tuesday and Thursday so that means that I get to be with Nixon SO much more and that is my favorite thing ever. Lani babysits him on the days that I work and she loves it. My mom and dad love it also because they get to see him more.
Nixon is growing like a weed. He is so big for his age. He is definitely a little wild man and I wouldn't have it any other way. If he isn't asleep he's going 100 miles an hour. He keeps me on my toes at all times. He's into EVERYTHING and he's so quick these days. There's no walking for him, just running. He makes us laugh all the time and is such a joy to be around. It's amazing watching him learn so much every day.

We are keeping pretty busy and having fun doing it. Life has been stressful at times but it's all worth it in the end.
