Las Vegas

This past weekend we went to Vegas for a baseball tournament that Nic was in. Nic was so excited to play again and I was looking forward to getting away from the cold here and being in warm weather. Little did we know that it was freezing there that weekend. Of course!! It was a really fun little getaway and we really enjoyed ourselves. We didn't do anything but go to games and go out to dinner, and it was actually really nice to not be on the strip the whole time. Nic's team won the tournament and Nic won the golden glove award for the tournament. I really enjoyed watching him. Nixon got his first taste of baseball. We know it's going to be his first of many games. It was his first time away from home and he did really well. It was definitely a great weekend with our family!!

Here's a sneak peek of the pictures we got of Nixon. I am so in love with them!!! I will post more as soon as I get the disc of all of them!

1 Month

Our little guy is 1 month old!! It's amazing how time flies. They grow so fast and change so much. Here are a few things about Nixon:
-He weighs 10 lbs. 13 oz. and is 22 in. long
-He has huge hands and loves to move them all around (I now know what all the movement was when he was in my tummy)
-He also has big feet and really long toes
-He loves to eat
-He doesn't sleep a whole lot
-He's colicky
-When he cries, he kicks like crazy and moves his arms all around...it's pretty funny
-He has super strong neck muscles
-He loves to cuddle and we love that about him!

We still can't really tell who he looks like. I'm sure as he gets older it will be easier to tell.

We love this little guy so much and are so glad to have him in our home!!

Ladies Man

Some of our good friends, Mitch and Christine, came over tonight and brought their baby Hudson for us to finally meet. Hudson is 14 hours older than Nixon. We had to lay them side by side to show the size difference. We couldn't believe how much bigger Nixon is than Hudson. She is such a little cutie and we can't wait for them to be little friends growing up.

So these two were just laying on the couch and I look over and this is what I see. Nixon is holding Hudson's hand!!! It was the cutest thing ever. We were laughing so hard. He's already starting with the girls...haha! Dad and I are going to have our hands full!!!!
