Las Vegas
This past weekend we went to Vegas for a baseball tournament that Nic was in. Nic was so excited to play again and I was looking forward to getting away from the cold here and being in warm weather. Little did we know that it was freezing there that weekend. Of course!! It was a really fun little getaway and we really enjoyed ourselves. We didn't do anything but go to games and go out to dinner, and it was actually really nice to not be on the strip the whole time. Nic's team won the tournament and Nic won the golden glove award for the tournament. I really enjoyed watching him. Nixon got his first taste of baseball. We know it's going to be his first of many games. It was his first time away from home and he did really well. It was definitely a great weekend with our family!!

The weather has truly sucked down here lately... not fun! It is suppose to be warm and I am upset about it so I can only imagine how mad you were coming from the cold to the cold. You should have let me know you were in town, I would have loved to watch Nic and see you and Nixon. Next time be sure to let me know! Looks like you had a great time!!

But I guess you already know that. And you are so gorgeous! I have to tell you when I was looking at Nixon's room you decorated...it was too funny. My little boy's room is almost identical! His room is all sports with Black and Red as the main colors! We even have a baseball mit and that SAME picture of the two hands pointed fingers to eachother on a shelf together!!! HOw crazy! anyways...it was fun catching up on what you've been up to. Take care!
