11 Months

Nixon is 11 months and I can't believe that I will have a 1 year old in 1 month. It definitely doesn't feel like it's been a whole year already. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this age. Nixon is SO much fun and I love watching him learn new things. He seriously amazes me. He learns things SO fast and gets good at the things he learns SO fast. He is so much fun to be around and makes us laugh all the time. He is VERY entertaining.

Here is he in his bubble bath. He LOVES bath time. If he hears the bath water running, he'll walk right to the tub and try to climb in. He loves playing with the bubbles, loves to splash and loves all his bath toys.

Things he is doing at 11 months:

-walking

-pretty much running

-tries to climb up on anything he can

-waves hi and bye

-gives high 5

-gives kisses when you say "kisses"

-says "yum" when he takes a bite of anything

-holds anything that's in his hand up to his ear when you say "hello"

-loves our cell phones

-runs away from us when he has something he knows he shouldn't have

-eats anything we give him (there isn't much he doesn't like)

-has 7 teeth

-whispers the word "hi"

-can easily entertain himself with his toys or anything that's on the floor

-LOVES LOVES LOVES to dance (he will dance whenever he hears music)

-had 2 ear infections at the same time

-is getting better at cuddling with us

-loves Emmi- he's learning to be more gentle with her

-calls Emmi "mem"

-points and talks when he wants something

He loves to climb in the basket that has books and magazines in it. He'll just sit in it and play and laugh like crazy. It's the funniest thing ever!

Nixon is such a joy to be around. Nic and I love being able to be his parents. He is such a blessing to us and we are so lucky to have him in our lives!
