We went to the beach this past weekend and it was Nixon's first time experiencing it. Saying that he loved it is an understatement. He was in pure heaven. He didn't know what to do with himself between playing in the water and the waves, playing in the sand, and having so much free space to just run, he was loving every second of it. He seriously didn't stop for a second that we were there. He was so cute and had SO SO SO much fun.
He loved the waves. The very first time he went in the water, he saw the waves coming at him and he yelled "No, No" and backed away from them. I was laughing so hard. And that lasted for about 2 seconds and then he loved playing in them.

I love this little dude. We were sad daddy couldn't be with us but he's working so hard and we are so thankful and so proud of him!!!

steele loves the water too! what the heck! you should be living here so they could swim the summer away. you know the shallow part of our pool. it is the best for their age. miss you guys. but it doesn't look like you miss us much....
