Easter Weekend

We had a really nice Easter weekend. I was so excited to put Nixon's Easter basket together the night before Easter. I have to say that holiday's are SO much funner when you have kids.

I also set up a little Easter egg hunt for him. I just set eggs out on the couch and t.v. stand so it would be easy for him to find them.

He loved his baseball Easter eggs.

Once he figured out that his eggs had candy in them, he got so excited when he found a new one. He would shake it and look at me and get so excited.

Sunday we were able to attend the afternoon session of general conference with the Langhaim family. It was my favorite session of conference. We had seats that were very close which made it that much better.

Here are Juliane and I. Their family is going through a lot right now. They are suffering the loss of their 19 year old son who was killed in a skateboarding accident 2 weeks ago. He was supposed to be leaving on his mission to Mexico City in 5 weeks. It's been nice to be there for them and spend a lot of time with them. They are also moving to the Philippines in July and they will be living there for 2 years. So it's been really nice to hang out with them before we leave to Boston.

After conference we went to my mom and dad's for dinner and it was delicious. We had a yummy roast with mashed potatoes, a great salad, and some delicious rolls. It was nice to visit with everyone.

We had a very nice relaxing weekend with all of our families. We love taking advantage of this time with them because we are flying out next weekend!
