Our super cute niece Madi hold Nixon.
After dinner we decided it was time to open presents. I'm pretty sure he remembered how to do things because of Christmas, but he still needed a little bit of help. Colby was right there helping him along the way and he loved it. 
He's so into his present. He got so much super fun and super cute stuff. Thank you all SO much!
His baseball birthday cake that I made. I know it isn't the prettiest looking thing, but I was proud of it because it's the first cake that I decorated all by myself! Here's the before!

For Christmas, Madi got a cake making kit so she asked me if she could make a cake of Nixon. She was so excited about it. Here she is with the cake that she made. She was so proud of it and was so excited for Nixon to dig into it.

Such a cute little mess. But he's not so little anymore. This picture seriously makes him seem so big!

After he got all cleaned up, he went crazy playing with the balloons that we got him. He LOVES playing with them!!!
Thank you to everyone that came and made it such a special night for Nixon. He had so much fun playing with everyone and we love that he loves his aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins so much. THANK YOU!!!!

Happy Birthday little guy! Sorry I never got back to you about the cake. I would have loved to make it for him but we're right in the middle of buying a house and everything is packed up. Yours looks great though, and your son is so super adorable. We need to get our kids together to play!
It's still hard to believe a year has gone by - we enjoyed the party - it was fun and good job on the cake!
SOOOOOO cute! It looks like you guys had so much fun and Nixon seriously does look big! I can't believe he's one! I am loving Madi's little cake too. Darling.
