WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!!!! We can no longer keep it a secret. Nic and I are SO excited for our new little addition. I know that everyone has questions, so here are some answers!How far along are you? 9 weeks
When are you due? January 13
Are you sick? YES! I have been pretty sick to my stomach. Sometimes throwing up and nauseous a lot. It's not everyday or all the time, but it's pretty often. Sometimes random, and sometimes is comes on all of a sudden. It's not very fun. Smells have also been driving me CRAZY! It's amazing how sensitive my sense of smell is. I'm always asking Nic if he smells that and he just looks at me like i'm crazy. Haha. But I kind of am crazy right now. LOL. I'm am glad that I'm not working right now because it gives me the chance to relax and lay around the house. And I know that if I were working at the spa right now, all the smells of people getting their hair done, the different aromas, and the smell of people getting their nails done would be driving me crazy!
Does your family know? Yes they do. We called both of our parents the day after we took the pregnancy test. We then told them they can tell whoever they want after I had my first DR. appointment.
Do you have names picked out? We have names that we like, but nothing for sure yet. It's still really early to tell.
Are you going to find out what you're having? YES! I couldn't not find out. We are already anxious to find out what it is. I can't wait to start buying clothes and start doing a nursery.
Boy or Girl? For this first one, we honestly don't care. As long as we have a healthy baby, it doesn't matter.
Are you scared? I'm not scared, but definitely a little nervous. I have thoughts about what kind of mom I'm going to be and hopefully I can live up to my mom. I have big shoes to fill. I'm SO excited for Nic to be a Daddy. It makes us nervous, but we are so excited at the same time!
Any other thoughts? Like I have said earlier, Nic and I couldn't be more excited. We can't wait to be called Mommy and Daddy. It's amazing, this early in the pregnancy, to experience all these changes in my body. I'm really enjoying it all and trying to take it all in. (minus the throwing up) Nic is going to be an absolutely amazing dad. We are very excited!!!!! If anyone has any suggestions on anything, any websites they'd recommend, and books they'd recommend or anything, I would love it all. It's my first time, so anything will help. Love you all!!

Omg, I am so excited for you still. I keep telling David everytime I think of you, "Can you believe Trudi's preggo!" It's gonna be so fun. Yay! Anyway, I hope you're resting a lot and I'm sorry about the nausea and smell thing. I totally know what you're going through. I just got over all that, so its a pain, but I totally feel for you. Yay! Congratulations! I just knew you two would be making an announcement soon. I actually found out yesterday, but wanted to wait until you posted it on your blog to send a big congrats! I will have to email you some info. There is just SOOO much to take in with your first baby. I'm sorry about you being sick . . . . . I totally know where you're coming from. The first trimester can be miserable, the second is great because you feel great and have a cute little belly, and the third . . well . . . you'll just have to wait and see! :) I can't believe Nic is going to be a daddy and you're going to be a mommy. You'll be awesome parents! Congrats again!
Yeah!!!!!!! We are so so excited for you two future parents to be! We couldn't be more happier for you! Hopefully Jeff becomes a Nic and wants a baby so we can have our babies around the same age ha....we'll see! Congratulations!! We love you!!
Trudi!!! You're going to be a GREAT mother. I remember when I was in the hospital just after I gave birth you were so sweet to come visit me and bring cookies (that I ate all myself). I really liked "What to Expect When You're Expecting", it's like the pregnancy bible. It helped me know what was going on, and helped me get really excited too. Yeah, I'm so so so excited for you. You'll have beautiful children!
YAAA! Congrats, I told you already but yea I'M SO HAPPY for you two, you guys are going to be great parents! I am glad we'll have a lot of similar experiences to go through with our kids being only a few months apart! Now all we need to do is move closer, that is the next step so our kids can all be buddies! Luv ya!
CONGRATS!!!! I am so excited for you!! Motherhood is amazing!! I know that the being sick part is no fun right now, but trust me, it is so worth it when you see that sweet little face looking up at you for the first time. You and Nic are going to be wonderful parents!! I would highly recommend getting on babycenter.com. It's awesome. You get an email every week letting you know how your baby is developing, and what to expect that week of pregnancy. It also keeps sending you emails after the baby is born. I still get one once a week with tips on things to do with Samson. I'm always free if you have any questions. Congrats, again!!

Trudi!! Congratulations! Wow, I am so excited for you guys. I hope you get over the sickness soon. Enjoy your pregnancy. I loved being pregnant. I would recommend babycenter.com as well and also "What to expect when you're expecting" - they are terrific. And when the time come you should get "What to expect in the first year" after baby is born. I bet your folks are so happy! Keep us posted with cute belly pics!

CONGRATS! That is awesome...you guys will have the time of your lives! I registered at American Baby.com. It is a free website that just emails you every week on what your baby looks like, what size, what it is developing(like fingernails, etc.) It was really awesome to have while I was pregnant! This will be so fun!
OH MY GOSH!!!! Congrats! we are so happy for you guys that is awesome. cant wait for you guys to come back so that we can hang out!
